In late 2022, recognizing the lack of anime merch availability, our family decided to turn years of anime marathons into something bigger for the community. 6 months later we opened the doors to Anime Island!
Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting - May 2023
After a short-term lease experiment, we decided we liked having an anime store, and the Plaza came through! We wheeled our showcases across the mall to our current location - 4060 El Cerrito Plaza.
We moved across the Plaza - November 2023
Settling into our new home, we threw an Official Holiday Party with the staff that give life to the island! 🏝️ Happy Holidays Everyone 🥳
