In late 2022, our family decided to turn years of anime marathons into something bigger for the community. 6 months later we opened the doors to Anime Island!

Our short term lease ran out in the blink of an eye - but the Plaza was there to help! We wheeled our cases across the mall to our current location 4060 El Cerrito Plaza
We moved across the Plaza - November 2023
Settling into our new home, we threw an Official Holiday Party with the staff that give life to the island! 🏝️ Happy Holidays Everyone 🥳
